Rotrans Infra Projects Pvt. Ltd. provided Design Stage Road Safety Audit services for the strengthening of the existing two-lane Angabira–Naktideul section of National Highway NH-153B in the State of Odisha.
The road safety audit was carried out during the design stage to identify potential safety hazards, geometric deficiencies, and risk-prone locations prior to project implementation. The audit aimed at ensuring that road safety considerations were integrated into the design itself.
The scope of work included review of alignment, cross-sections, junction layouts, sight distance, drainage provisions, road furniture, signage, markings, and other safety-related elements in accordance with IRC road safety guidelines and MoRTH standards.
Based on site inspections and design reviews, Rotrans Infra provided safety recommendations and mitigation measures to enhance safety for all categories of road users, including pedestrians and vulnerable users.
